“Kicking Rocks” takes home Best Alternative Song of the Year at ZepFEST 2025.

We're absolutely thrilled to share some incredible news with all of you who have supported us on this journey. This past Sunday, September 14th, our song "Kicking Rocks" was awarded "Best Alternative Rock Song of the Year" at the prestigious Zepstone International Film and Music Festival (ZepFEST 2025)!

The ZepFEST 2025 Awards Ceremony, held at Wiseguys in Downtown Salt Lake City, was an unforgettable night celebrating independent artists from around the world. When they called our name as the winner, time seemed to stand still for a moment before the reality sank in – we'd done it!

This recognition means the world to the band, especially knowing how many talented artists were in contention. "Kicking Rocks" was born during some of my most challenging moments as a parent, and to see it connect with listeners and now judges at this level is truly humbling.

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has streamed, shared, and connected with this song. Your support fuels our passion to keep creating authentic music. Special thanks go out to John and Alicia Farmer from Zepstone for their incredible vision and support of independent artists, and to Wes Johnson from Archive Recordings for helping get the best out of us. And of course, a massive thank you to the ZepFEST judges and organizers for this incredible honor.
